FreeCAD Description:

FreeCAD is a free tool you can use to create 3D designs of things like toys, parts of machines, or anything you can think of, no matter how big or small. It uses a special way of designing that lets you easily make changes by going back and tweaking the setup. With FreeCAD, you can draw shapes in 2D and then use those shapes to build 3D objects. It has lots of features to help you fine-tune the size of your design or get detailed plans ready for making something real. FreeCAD works on computers running Windows, Mac, or Linux, and you can change it to suit your needs. It can open and save many different types of design files, which makes it easy to use with other tools you might be working with.
